Post Cruise Control, and some other Qs

Since no1 is yet buying my car i decided to "play" around with Cruise Control. It seems that its broken, because i feel that it got some play.

1.So im asking you guys to tell me how do i remove the cruise control from the steering column?

2. For some reason the back windows dont work on my MB also, but i checked the voltage in the back, front and the motor itself, its all good. I came to conclusion that it might be relay in the fuse box. So here is the question: Is it the relay? How many pins does the relay for windows, etc. have? (4, 5?) + Is it possible that one connector might "slipped" out of the fuse box?

Thanks in advance!

The terminals have no way to slip out on the fuse block. They're attached with screws.

You may be able to get the cruise amp out after you've stood on your head and contorted to get the two 10mm bolts that hold it on. You'll see another box, remove both with the bracket.

i have a similar issue with my SD. my buddy told me that there is a sensor on the front of the motor that gets the tach signal.

Your buddy is correct. Did he also tell you that the cruise control operates on the basis of vehicle speed, not engine speed? Or that the tachometer has no role in the operation of the cruise control?

It makes absolutely no difference where the car is; the tachometer still does not affect the operation of the cruise control. Location is not a factor.
