Today i saw...

Two college (around 20's) both owning W123 Diesel, one was a 240D and the other is a 300D Turbodiesel. both were talking to each other untill i pass by with my 300SD they stop talking and they both stare as my 300SD pass by them (i was doing 15 MPH in a 25 MPH) So how rare is it to see college girls love their old Diesel BENZ!!!

Ouch. Didn't realize the fact that my 87 was given to me as a hand-me-down when I was a college girl made me "dumb." And for what it's worth, I did pretty well with those prehistoric books ...

Maybe they have boyfriends who are forum members and W123 enthusiasts?

Zing of the day at Gen Y seanarcher. I really don't think we're the dumbest, it just appears that way.

Maybe they actually just like cars on their own? C'mon ... I can't possibly be the only one.

When I was in college/university, I think I've seen 4-5 w123s total. Some of them on a regular basis, some rarely. Only one or two were owned by guys, some had female drivers, and then the rest I just saw were parked at the parking lot w/o any driver.

Man that was two years ago already...

I sort of meant the above tongue in cheek, but who could have known that

I have a friend - and it seems so not like her - but she owns, rides, and maintains a Ducati.

When I was in Los Angeles in June I lost count of how many w123 I passed.

Back home in PA I've seen only two. A 300D and my first wagon in person (300TD).

I've seen a 240D in ithaca with a bunch of bumper stickers. It nearly made me puke!

No i'm sure your not. Some years ago a very cute girl in a very loud 300/240D passed me on I-395 and gave me a thumbs up....I regret to this day not figuring out some way to signal her to pull over for a coffee and conversation

This is my kind of girl and absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my mama is Italian
