Depends on the manufacturer... My Jeep grand Cherokee with the Mercedes 3.0 Diesel says you can use B20. I don't know how they could even tell any way. Maybe use some voo doo magic. I am just waiting for the dealer to come tell me "You used B100 3 tanks ago the warranty will not cover this".

I wanna know how they are justifying 2.00 MORE for a tax free product...
Um, that red dye must be SERIOUSLY pricey!!!

around dayton, there is none, even out in the sticks... closest one I've seen is about an hour or so away, in Indiana on the way to Indianapolis... :(

but I avoid purchasing diesel over there at all costs due to the state taxing road diesels for cars & other non commercial vehicles an extra $.20 a gallon!

I'm not sure if the bio is priced the same way

Wow, B100 is only $2.689 a gallon there!? I use nothing but B99 biodiesel and it is $3.399 a gallon. Last year when the fuel prices were high it was over $6 a gallon.

The off road is way off in that picture.

I don't really follow all the politics behind this but my local BIO supplier raised their prices. It was around 2.24 to 2.40 for B20, 2.24 for B99 and 1.89 for off road B99. Those prices have been that way for months.

I was in there yesterday and I freaked when I had to pay 2.58 for B99. A little more for B20. I'm guessing they are basing there prices on "the batch" they made or something. I did not ask.

Local #2 prices are around 2.55 to 2.69. Looks like I'm going back to #2 for now.

Remember B-100 does have a shelf life, or it will solidify into a jello like substance. I left B-100 in a plastic 5 gallon diesel can, in case I needed a bit at the house.

Can you imagine what would happen to a diesel vehicle that sat for 6 months or more?

I never leave fuel in any of my diesels for more than a month, especially bio.

Whats with this? How can anyone expect people to use bio fuel when it is that much more than regular diesel? It has been this way all summer. Another thing, why is the offroad bio so much more????

Some people will pay more for Bio. Not sure why the off road is so much more, but there used to be a 1 cent tax credit for each percent of bio that went into petroleum diesel. It was not good on B100 though. That is why you see so much B99.

Yesterday where I buy fuel: petro $2.85____ B20 $2.65_____B99 $3.35 I filled up with B99. ;)

the b20 i get in philly is actually a little cheaper than regular diesel. either way, when you do the math it's only a couple dollars difference for a tank full. but i only need to fill up about once a month...

You are going back to #2 because it costs .03 less a gallon than B99? I'll tell you what, on your next tank use the B99 and I'll send you the .45.
