That is indescribably awesome! I too would drive it every day! Wow! Take that SDL's! A 617 powered W126 that is like 25 feet long! Yeah! If I was rich I'd buy that thing instantly.

Nah, I bet it can pull a 15 second 0-60 if the engine is in good tune. Since it has an '85 drivetrain it also has the high stall (2600rpm) torque converter, allowing the 617 to use its max potential. I bet it drives just fine. If it still has the 2.47 rear end it'd be even better!...I bet it does, since there were not any 3.07 diff's made with the later W126 mounting setup....if it has an SDL diff it'd be a 2.88, also good.

It very likely still has a much better power to weight ratio than a 240d.
