The pump is in the trunk..........shares the space with the spare tire.

Search the forum; there is a wealth of information on the vac pump and door locks. Here's the quick and dirty:

The pump is located beside your spare tire in the trunk. (The vac pump under the hood has nothing to do with the locks.) The lines run from the pump to your trunk lock, to your gas flap lock, and to a connector in front of the passenger seat. Pull up the carpet in front of the passenger seat and remove the cover over the channel. In the channel are the vac lines that are serviced by the pump and which in turn service the door actuators. Get a mityvac and begin the process of testing each of the vac lines. Carefully pull a vac line off and pump it up with the mityvac; you will need to plug the other end and my mityvac has rubber golf tees for the job - some people just use regular golf tees to plug the line. The one which does not hold vac is the one which is bad. It will generally lead you to one of the doors and you will probably end up replacing the actuator in that door. They are cheap - something like $25 and they last a really long time. You may need to replace more than one actuator. The pump itself it just about indestructible so you will probably end up replacing either a leaking vac line or a bad actuator or two.

There are vac drawings on the forum showing where each line goes; however, I found I did not really need the drawings.

The comments above are from my memory from quite a while ago but should be generally correct. Again search the forum; there is a wealth of info there including pictures of the channel with the vac lines. It's really an easy fix. When you get ready to remove the door panels, check the forum too; there is good info and you do not want to break off the plastic fingers that hold the panels to the door frame - ask me how I know.

Good luck.
