Pictures! My new project 1973 220d
Notice the thin bumpers and unribbed tailights!
Currently non-running but hopefully she should be purring a couple of weekends. Slight fender rust but nothing major. I'll keep y'all posted on the project! |

Looks like a fun project, needs an extra pedal though.
What are your plans with it? |

Sorry I should have clarified; are you going to drive it as-is or are you going to restore it? I think it'd be pretty neat as-is, it has some nice patina going.

i'm going to fix it just enough to be roadworthy and use it as a commuter.
not much beyond that. |

Nice. A good buff up and polish should work wonders for it. I hope you get that rust taken care of. It's still quite minor and the car will look a huge lot better without it. Nice vehicle.

i have to get the motor running first. it shouldn't take more than a new battery, new belts, fuel filters, oil and oil filter. I also have to fix the coolant leak somewhere too. What do you guys suggest about the old fuel in the tank? is there a way to drain it easily or should i just fill the tank with good fuel and dilute the bad fuel away? |
