Nice 240D...

How does this one look: http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1311927775.html

Is this about the going price for one of these in a good shape? It seems a bit high especially with an oil leak but the color is gorgeous....

No mention of mileage, the A/C is busted, its a '79 and they want $3,800? Sounds way too high.

It really depends on mileage/condition. Plan on spending $1000-2000 on the AC. That would put the total price in the $5000 range, which would be OK for a low mileage car.

Thanks, I've just been really busy and got out of the habit of checking in. Brian finally sent me an e-mail and asked where I went. Seems like most of the usual suspects are still hanging out here.

Some of our rabble rousers have been weeded out. We are a little blander but more civil too.

Hmmmm, SNOW COUNTRY... do an incredible search for rust. under battery, in the hood spring pockets, vehicle jack points, suspension mounts, suspension itself, under the rear window inside the trunk!, etc etc, etc...
what transmission? mileage? still, for 3800, it better be an awesome example if it needs A/C work...
