What did you do for the clutch pedal and so on for the SD? Fab all of that or canabalize oem parts to fit? Is this a mech or hyd clutch? I may have possibilitys of a 5 speed id like to swap into my SD. Fabbing is no big deal for myself, just curious about how you did ur clutch!

Thanks!

If you need parts, I have some!

Thats what im kinda figuring too. If i go this route, for pure simplicity, I can have a really stout custom bowden type cable (like a B&M or Hurst shifter cable on steroids) made locally instead of hydraulic or linkage type.

I'm actually a Cert. BMW Technician My odd screen name is cause i have a 79 Malibu wagon, drag car which has a small block (mouse motor)
Besides being a tech and a racer, Fabrication is a real passion of mine! I'll make, mod or fab anything

Yes clutch/ brake pedal set up from an 83 240D, you will need to cut the hook off at the top for the w126 conversion. Anyway, so far so good.

Do you remember how you measured this? is this total length from the tip of the alignment pin, or from where the three fingers bolt on to the flex disk?

I'm installing a manual in my SD. I have the drive shaft from a 240D and a 300D and one is just under 20" and the other is around 22" seems I may have to just get my stock shaft lengthened.

Thanks
