Welcome to the Forum

Here is a thread that came up this week on the very subject.

www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=260389

I have a couple pictures in post #9.

First picture it the top side, and the second pic is from the bottom.

1 - On the left side of the alternator you will see a 17mm nut. loosen it.

2 - Behind it will be a 17mm bolt, loosen it.

3 - under the alternator is a 17mm bolt, loosen it.

4 - then turn the adjuster nut on the right side.

once tightened, then tighten the other three nuts/bolts.

Hope this helps.

Charlie

for some reason I can`t post those 2 pictures here in this thread.
when I try, in the attachments it says I already posted in the other thread. stupid computer.

^ Yeah, the forum won't allow you to post the same pic twice, wasted space or something.

Simply loosen the bolts that go through the alternator in the fore/aft direction and the adjuster will then back off easily.

I even tried to make a new folder with a new name.

I guess since I downloaded the pic off the SD card into MY Pictures, even though I made a new folder off the same pic, some how the "Computer knows" .
