420 SEL 617.95 power
What do you think? I have just finished the engine conversion in the 89 model. It is a beautiful white and palomino. Has lots of power with the tuned Injector pump. Could some of you who are not purists please comment. I have been thinking of this project for some time and finally found the donor engine. Do you think this kind of vehicle is compromised or increased value? I could go on about this car's greatness as I see it. Do you think I could offer this car on the forum?
Thanks, carp |

Resale value would be compromised. You would probably be better off just buying a 300SDL. On the other hand, if you just must have a 617 in a lwb 126, this is about the only way you're going to get it. Build it and enjoy it, just accept the fact that if/when you decide to sell it, you're probably going to have a hard time finding a buyer and you probably won't get much for it.

I'd be a potential buyer if the time was right.

that would be nice.
Make sure to get a wagon engine or at least the head so you can keep the SLS. |
