240D funky blinkers
My 240D has blinker funk. The blinker relay sometimes sticks closed whether on blink or 4 way. Seems mostly to be after driving at higher revs, but will occasionally funk on me at idle. Sometimes it's just happy to be itself and has no probs. Haven't popped the relay open to see if it's scummed up or something yet. Sometimes it will defunk and start to cycle if i do some manual blinking.
I'm thinking it might be the voltage regulator on the alternator, putting out a voltage the relay's not happy with at higher rev's. What voltage should the charging system regulate to?

I don't know if this applies to an 83, but my blinkers/flashers acted very similar after I spilled some diet Pepsi on the emergency flasher switch, located on the console.
