Bosio Monark or Bosch nozzels

Are Monark nozzels any good. Who sells them or Bosio nozzels. Is it necessary to buy the whole injector? Pop test?

nozzles

I have been runnin Monarch nozzles for three thousand miles and have been very pleased with them thus far. Much smoother idle, and better response. I bought a pop tester from mercedes source and balanced all of the injectors to within fifty pounds of one another. Since I have no plans of getting rid of my 300d antime soon, I figured it was worth the investment. I followed all of the steps on lapping the internal parts like the mercedes manual instructed, and I have no external leaks so far. Have never used bosio so I cant be much help on comparing them.

me thinks kerdatdi may still sell bosios.

there have been a few members here that sell monarchs- a quick search will provide all you need to know and then some.

Monarks rock!

I replaced my original Bosch's w/Monarks...nothing short of phenominal! I did the nozzles myself and balanced them, although they needed virtually nothing...every one was well within specs. C Sean Watts has been rebuilding injectors for a nominal amount (+ parts of course)...much easier than the route I went unless you want to learn how to do it, like I did. 10k + mikes on the new ones w/o a hiccup.

I also have Monark Nozzles bought from forum member C Sean Watts in 2 of my vehicles (made in Germany). (He can also rebuild your Injector for you; I did my own.)
Mercedes Sourc* sells them also.

Me thinks kerdatdi may still sell bosios and for less than some other places (made in Italy).

Somewhere there is a long thread or 2 on the same subject.

have about 1k on bosios with rebuilt injectors, and better response, mpg and idle, but to be expected with any reputable nozzles and an injector rebuild after 230k miles on original bosch nozzles 100k over due for replacement. have heard good things about monarks as well, but stay away from new bosch as major QC issues and reports of going bd even after 1k. either way, make sure you get the injectors rebuilt to spec and cleaned up by a reputable diesel shop or do it yourself if you have a shim kit, pop tester and time on your hands.

Sean Watts installed (& balanced) new "Monark"nozzles in the injectors of both my 240s. Its been a couple years and and I'm still very happy with his work.

I bought a monark set from Sean Watts and love them--peppier, smoother idle and get the same fuel mileage. I've had them for a couple of years--25k or so.
