Glow plug light testing??
Is there any way to stop the glow plug light from going out? I put the dash cluster back on and now the glow plug light does not come on. It used to come on but only stay for a short while. The car starts OK and I measure 12V going to the glow plugs and the plugs all measure about 1ohm. I want to make sure I did not mess up the wiring when I pushed the cluster back in.
Thanks.

There's probably a wire that goes from the relay to the light on the dash. Apply 12V to that connection and see if the dash light works.
You didn't say which car, but for the 300D that would be pin 3 (blu/wht wire) on the small connector to the GP relay. You can jump that to pin 1 when the key is in position II (run).

Does the horn work? They're on the same fuse.
