Why does my 603A hate me so?
144k total. Since I've acquired it at 120k: "new" #17 head, valve stem seals, injectors reman'd by Bosch (but not pop tested), delivery valve seals, three OEM mounts (nothing on dampers, though).
Just yesterday I retorqued the DVs: 20, 20, 25. No effect. It still idles rougher than the 617A. ![]() Good 3/27 B100 fuel for two years. Warm idle is as quiet as a low-quality gasser. What gives?

Is it any cylinder in particular? Any pinging or knocking? Is this on D2 or Bio? Bio should be a bit quieter.
I hear the reman Bosch injectors aren't often up to par...

Wouldn't you need to pop test the injectors to tell you if they are working correctly.
