Shut off valve seal screw-up - advice needed

Yeah it's been awhile since I turned a wrench on my car and I screwed up a very simple job. Instead of gracefully removing the cir-clip and washer that hold the o-ring (leaking) behind the stop lever in place, I wrenched the hollow 17-mm bolt off from around the piece the stop lever arm bolts to, destroying and losing the cir-clip and washer in the process. The piece that the arm bolts to flopped around a bit and, though it appears to still be attached to whatever it actuates inside the pump (I can feel resistance when I rotate it and it returns back to the position it starts from), it is no longer in the same position (rotationally) as before and it has at least a half inch of play into the pump (due to the cir-clip no longer being in place). My questions: 1) does anyone have the part numbers or actual parts for the cir-clip and washer and 2) do I need to further disassemble the pump to confirm that it is all attached correctly inside and 3) do I need to be concerned about a runaway condition for some reason once I reassemble it all.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Rich,

Could you post specific engine and chassis numbers?

Sorry I should have made it clear that it was the car in my signature.
