Pretty funny. How about the Neon with a half million?

Thats pretty good for an American car. We all know that ours last much longer. Mine's got 305k, and still drives like a dream.

I wonder why there are no Mercedes out there?

I do like the "amateurs" comment.

Sure some other cars might run for a real long time, but who on earth would want to spend 500k of driving in a non-MB?! yick!

I drive my 300SD 80 miles a day....probably about 24k a year or so. I'm coming up on 293k next week....

I am the only person at my workplace who drives a German car....and everyone else is ALWAYS fixing stuff on their cars, and they are all 1/4 as old or less....and with about 1/5 the miles....

That one brown Jeep called "Vex" has had 5 engines in it. Not sure how that qualifies.

In 2005

My neighbor bought a 2000 Freightliner with 500,000mi on it. In FIVE YEARS he added another 710,000! The only bad thing is it's a pre Mercedes era Cummins ISX, still not bad, though.

Yeah, 200K-250K seems like chump change with our diesels.
