Redline 85+ question: adding it to fuel filter
I am going to change the fuel filters this weekend. I have looked at past posts and like the idea of adding diesel purge to the spin-on filter. I have called around and nobody carries that brand (too late in the week to order it over the net). I have found several places that carry Redline 85+. My question is: Can you add Redline 85 undiluted to the spin-on filter like you can with diesel purge? I haven't bought a bottle of it yet and was wondering if it is SAFE for the engine to run off it undiluted for a bit. I read a couple of posts where people said that their injectors started to leak after they started using the Redline. If it is that powerful.....I don't know if I want to use it except for in the tank.
Your comments are much appreciated. mike |
