brake pull? no: bad toe

Car pulling a bit to one side during a stop?

I was bracing for doing a brake job, had done the pads, disc measured good... wondering about the condition of the front calipers.

But then a miracle happened: after fiddling around with toe-in on the car (because of replaces steering rods) and I got it back to ZERO toe on the front, the brake pull went away! Yeah. I had different amounts of toe-in on each front wheel, one was out of whack more than the other. Driving with the steering wheel slightly askew, pressing on brakes made is askew more...


Just sharing the happy news. It's not always what you think it might be. Or sometimes things fix themselves category of joy.
