Start 'er up
Start 'er up, and sit in the passenger seat, and look around.
If you recently replaced the "new air clear mounts/bracket", do you mean new air filter? Must be a mistype in there, not sure what you're talking about. Must be a loose nut or screw somewhere. I hate buzzing noises. jeff 1991 300d, 147k |

![]() the air cleaner on this motor is mounted to a crappy t shaped bracket with 3 rubber mounts. WELL KNOWN to rattle and cause horrendous noises. although, if new U tube grommets are used, and it's installed properly and TIGHT, it helps!

as for the buzzing, it could be in the climate control vacuum gadget under the dash, you could have something metal rattling in the door panel pocket.
you're just gonna have to look for the rattle! |

thanks, guess I'll have to get to digging deeper. to clear things up a bit, it was a new air cleaner mount bracket along with new rubber mounts and cups. that certainly stopped the air cleaner vibration issue I was having but now there is a buzzing/vibrating sound I can hear when the car is idling. maybe it is in the climate control area....just have to look a bit more....
