w210 blower regulator question.

Hello two days ago the a/c blower only works on low speeds, and today I got the assembly out and found the regulator part number 9 140 010 179 BEHR. I tested the fan and it works fine with direct power.

Now what options do I have have? can I get the same p/n or does it have to be 1408218351? really not in the mood to change the entire assembly brackets and all thanks...

go to fastlane and look the reg up. There is a chasis cutoff number (last 6 or 7 digits of your vin) used to determine which parts your car uses. Mine is an early 99 production model and it was replaceable.
