hey i wanted to know if i could swap to a different diff for more highway driving. my 74 240d 4spd is ok on the highway at 65 but would like to do 75 with lower rpm's. thanks. any suggestions are welcome.

The next option up from a 3.69 would be a 3.46 which was used in the 300D N/A. Acceleration is going to be slow though. I hope you live in a flat part of the country.

I was thinking of pulling it and the 150mph spedo. would look good in my 240D

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
