Service Manual for 74 240D

I recently went out to the Mercedes Benz website and bought a service manual for the 115 body styles, which includes the 74 240D. I recieved the CD and it doesn't work. It looks like it is trying to go out to some web site and it cannot find it.

I work during MB office hours and I really don't want to spend the 1/2 hour+ to try to get hold of someone.

Does anyone have a hard copy service manual or know how to fix my CD?

I'm trying to figure out how to do the following:

1. Replace the rheostat for the dash board lighting
2. Fix the loose cover glass over the speedometer. Some one pushed the glass in and the circular bezel behind the glass is also loose. This produces the annoying buzz known to man.
3. Fix the parking brake micro switch. I'm trying to determine where the switch is and how I should fix it. The idiot light is remaining on and I find this pretty annoying.
