MB Sunroof Grease - Help a Brotha' Out?

I found it for sale in VERY convenient $10/1oz portions from AllParts Express (thank you VSTECH for the help!). So, in one sense, I'm not at all complaining. It's much better than spending an arm-and-a-leg at the dealer. But shipping for that 1oz jar of goodness is like fifteen bucks. And as hard as I tried, my body would just not let me spend $15 to ship 1 ounce of something - except maybe precious metals or gems.

Can anyone help a brotha out? I'm not asking for a freebie, just a modest hook-up, I suppose. I only need enough to lube the crap out of my sunroof next weekend.

Thanks again for all the help and information!

Post (or update your profile) your location and maybe someone locally has some you can buy.

Or, just buy a larger qty and try to sell some locally yourself.

Pay to play

A while back there was a forum member selling small amounts of sunroof paste. I don't remember who it was though. It might be found by the search function.

Gleitpaste

The Sunroof's "Arms" have little Rubber "Feet" that are covered in Felt.
It's these "Feet" that contact/ride on the Stainless steel sunroof rails.
The SPECIAL Mercedes sunroof Grease does not attract DUST,
which would act as an ABRASIVE on the "Feet".

You Do Not Want to have to R+R the Little rubber felt covered "Feet".

Axle grease:
It acts like gum below 40° F, and glue at -30° F.
Every winter I get calls from people that opened the sunroof at or below 30° F to vent heat from a bad mono valve = breaking sunroof parts or stripping the motor drive gear.
It attracts dust/grit like a powerful magnet = binding/galling.
It is a nightmare to clean/remove, and always involves disassembly + replacing parts.

Here are the current choices.
