617: up and down "sinus"-like idle....
so the idle speed fluctuates between 6500 and 7000 rpm more or less. I've only seen this with 603 engines, not with 617... it's an '85 california model. is this caused by the famous rack damper bolt??

so that rack damper bolt huh... ok let me try that. does the 603 have one too then?? |

Air in Fuel System can be another cause. Also raising the idle speed to 750 could help. See the Emission Sticker that has the Valve Adjustment ant timng specs of your idle info.
