Wink Vacuum valve 300TD

Just wanted to share this. I have experienced some weird transmission shifting problem lately. Hard shift, early shift, late shift etc... Then great shifting for days and back to weird...It seems that this is fairly common for the 300D. One of the thing I check was the vacuum valve on top of the valves cover. It appeared to be in good shape. Decided to replace it anyway and here is what I found... You can see that the two pivots where the small plastic handle sits are cracked. I swear that I could not see the cracks before removing the vac valve.

Of course took the car for a test drive. Works great right now and time will tell if this resolve my issues....
