i need help with driveshaft mesurments! (240d)

I have a 1975 240d w115 and I bought it with an automatic engine/trans out of a 1981 240d. I need a driveshaft for it and I dont know what mesurments or parts I need, any ideas?

btw i also have a manual trans out of the 75 that i don't need. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

THe only way to know is to measure it once the engine/transmission are in place.

I'm not sure what you're asking but I think all you need is the length of the '75 automatic since you can measure the length of the '81 automatic yourself. I assume you've measured the '75 manual to be shorter (or longer) than the '81 automatic.

Will a 616.912 drop into a W115 as is or will the oil filter and other appendages have to be reconfigured like a 616.916?
