W123 Turn Signals Quit

The other day I drove the 300 after not driving it for about a week and the turn signals weren't working. They aren't coming on at all. The flasher/hazard switch works and that flashes the signals. After a few trips and turning the car off and on again the signals came back on for about two minutes then they quit again. I did a search and read that the wrong kind of bulb, a double filament bulb, can screw up the circuit but the hazards are still working. Any thoughs? Not sure if it's related but my horn/backup/#14 fuse i believe, keeps blowing.
