I'm going for it. It has some sort of throttle linkage or fuel filter issue though... I hope it can do highway speed lol.

I posted that in the craigslist postings. I'm hoping aaa gets it. If you do, let me know how it works out. (though I probably don't want to know).

is the reason the seller is not calling me back that aaa has already looked at the car and made an offer?

I made him an offer back on Wed.

Ended up towing it. Many crickets were sacrificed to my back smushing them while I pulled the DS. Still got a long drive ahead...

More pics. Anybody know what that black box under the passenger seat is? And that battery tray looks about done. Currently I'm waiting for the battery to charge, damn thing ate two jumpboxes without blinking.

You would want to put your wife into that car as a daily driver??? You got any kids???? I bought my wife brand new Lexus because of 34545 airbags having that she drives kids in back. Yes yes it is safe also maybe not tank like benz but it is GS430 and it takes of like rocket. I just cannot put my family into like 30 year old car that may even be rust bucket.

While the battery tray appears to be rusted, the rest of the car doesn't seem to be. At least not from the other pictures. Your math is off by 5 or 6 years as well.

How nice that you could buy your wife a new Lexus.

You probably already guessed that my wife and 2 kids occasionally ride in my 24 year old car. It is the only car we own that can hold 7. She does have a Honda Civic with all the air bags for her daily driver.
