there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

Congrats on that milestone!

Next time reset your trip odometer in advance of it so you can get something like this one:

Cool, but I didn't plan ahead that much. Maybe when I hit 666,666 in a couple of years.

That '82 300D is a wonderful design, and you have taken such care to extend its life.
What a kick that we muse of the high mileage...
How many miles do you drive annually ?

Usually about 40-50K, I use it to travel all over the country. Next week I'm going to Philly.

You might not get good airflow to the radiator with all those badges on....
