problem starting

I installed turbo engine into 84 g wagon and no run I don,t if switch between inj pump and block with 3 wires has to be connected? car never had one ???

On the last versions of that engine (OM617.95_) that 3 wire plug was only for a signal OUT to the emission control unit, NOT an input to the pump.

That is a basic Diesel system of heat, fuel pressure, & combustion.
No electronics involved
