Farewell and Thanks!

So the wagon is sold, and I have purchased a new to me 2003 bmw 325xi wagon.

I want to thank everyone for their help and the DIYs that I have used here. This was an amazingly useful website. Thank you very much.

Sad to see you leave, but you have to do what is best for you.

You are still part of the forum family, so you won`t really leave the fold. you learned a lot from the fourm, and we learned from you. the most valuable thing you gained, is the friends you made here.

congratulatons on your new car, hope it runs well for you. a new car is always exciting.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and have a blessed Christmas.

i just finished on a front brake job that i followed in the DIY section. I learned so much on this site abot MBs and now can move onto cars that I can still DIY on, but it was time. THe rear bearing was shot, A/C was shot, radio was shot, vibration under my feet started, and I felt bad for my girls who had no clue what being in a cool old car meant (they actually loved the car) but it was time to move on.

i'm looking forward to rip it up in the snow! i do think however that i porbbaly be back. I would get a w123 for one of my girls, but by then i wouldnt be able to afford them.

I'm flirting with the idea of "another" German manufacturer also, and either way I'm going to sell both of my W123's.
My 13 year old daughter would rather ride the school bus then have me pick her up in a W123. Not acceptable......

Old cars mean very little compared to the formative years of your kids, even though this is hardly necessary to mention......
I really did enjoy squaring them away.

I'm lucky. The 240D is flirting w/ jalopy status, but my son loves the 'classic'. Soon should be on hiatus for dash, interior, body & engine work, soon as the winter car gets squared away.
