w123 shutoff valve question
If i remove all vaccum lines and booster hose,then after reinstall car doesnt shut off, is it possible i need to use mighty vac to reprime the shutoff and then reinstall the vac line.
I am asking because i have all hoses back the way they were and car is not shutting off for like 3 minutes. |

No priming needed. Maybe you hooked something up wrong, or broke or disconnected a line somewhere while wrenching.

vac diagrams are in the stickies on first page.
usually the shut off valve has a brown vac line

i have the brown line closest to the key going to the shutoff, is this right?
The other brown line closest to the drivers side door on the ignition switch is going to booster hose. Help anyone,car is not shutting off,takes like 2 minutes. Prime the shutoff with my mighty vac??? |

I guess Tangofox's answer wasn't clear enough. NO
Use your Mitvac to check the vacuum level at the shut off valve.

Is my position ok? Brown line from position closest to the key in the ignition switch goes to shutoff?? |

Try reversing them and see what happens. I bet you have them backwards. You could also use your mity vac to pull directly on the shut-off valve with the car running to see if the valve is working, or on the line going to the valve to make sure you get vac there when the key is turned off.
