Good brake pad walkthrough?

Hey guys,

So my brake indicator light on my 1984 300D started coming whenever I applied the brakes so and I figured it was time to redo the brakes. I ordered new pads, rotors, and sensors. Upon doing some reading, I realized the rotor replacement on the W123 cars is quite involved on the front and may require a bit more then I can do.

I began shopping around local indie Benz places and at some point I decided to visually inspect my current components. Upon inspecting I realized my current rotors are actually still in great shape and are really not worn down to the point of needing replacement. I compared them to my new rotors and changing them isn't necessary(yes I'm aware it's just a matter of mm). At any rate, I think my pads are the really worn out part here which is pretty reasonable. I got Brembo rotors at a great price so I have no qualms about just hanging onto them until I need them.

At any rate, I cannot find a good guide to changing the pads. I looked all through the DIY section, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I'm just blind. I read in another thread that there was a good write up for changing pads on a w124 which was almost the same, but I couldn't find that one either. Could someone refer me to a good write up or guide for swapping the pads on this car?

Thanks so much!
