Clock interchangeablility

I've got an '85 201 on which the clock just went south. I have a clock out of a '93 201 which fits in every way, except the '93 has the reset stem and gears mounted to the clock where on the '85 the reset stem is mounted and is part of the cluster body. Without pulling out my cluster to check, and anyone tell me if the late model clock will work with minor parts swap for the gears and reset stem? Hate to pull muy cluster out just to see.

Edit: Pulled out the cluster. Memory was bad. They are identical and do swap easily. The movements are totally different and the minute hand doesn't seem to interchange, but everything else is identical and a drop-in. It works!
