Sometimes the subframe bushings' rubber will separate from the steel bushing, which will give you a clunk and look okay until the rubber wears away enough to be obvious.
Lift he car's weight off of the wheels and watch the bushings.

Suggest removing the plastic cover on the rear suspension lower control arm. It hides your view of the outer control arm bushing. They fail and can cause the rattling sound. You might also notice a slight "rear wheel steer" effect when going over a bump when these bushings are shot.
