Waiting in the wings!

Talking with my 16 year old son about cars tonight. Mom overhears and said she is looking to replace her old Volvo wagon sometime. Son said she should get a Mercedes. Mom said she is not a huge fan. Son replied I don't know why Mom, they are AMAZING cars, well built, quiet, and run forever with decent care. In fact Mom, I want to get a Mercedes Diesel likes Dads old one as soon as I can.

I just sat back and smiled!

I've got my friends hooked. They love the Benzs and always tell me when they see one.

9 yr old son gets the 85SD when he turns 16 - IF he also learns to maintain it (by wrenching or writing check per his choice or ability).

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.
