Its similar to the illustration in post#1. It has an idler pulley.

Interesting. I pulled another one last summer that was made out of steel. the one I posted is aluminum. there must be several different styles made.

If you can put up some pictures of yours, and along with mine and a few others, maybe we can figure out how to adapt them.
the one I have uses only the 2 front holes on the side of the engine. If I can figure out how to add onto the rear of the bracket and use the third hole, there would be no need for the tapped holes under the vacuum pump.

Every time Iam in the yards, Iam always looking for a Sanden set up.

I used these pics to build my bracket. Good pics man, I'm glad you documented that stuff!

Look at pics 2 and 3. The new one is a 508 with an "FN" head.

More pics I had stored:

Wow! I wish I had known about this before installing the A/C on my 617.951 powered 53 F100. I used the R-4 and you can really feel it when it cycles :(

Here are photos of what i have. Its similar to the illustration in post #1. The front compressor mount has the same part#. The rear mount has a different part# but they look similar. The other brace is for the oil cooler hoses. The compressor doesnt have any label.
