Its similar to the illustration in post#1. It has an idler pulley.

Interesting. I pulled another one last summer that was made out of steel. the one I posted is aluminum. there must be several different styles made.
If you can put up some pictures of yours, and along with mine and a few others, maybe we can figure out how to adapt them. the one I have uses only the 2 front holes on the side of the engine. If I can figure out how to add onto the rear of the bracket and use the third hole, there would be no need for the tapped holes under the vacuum pump. Every time Iam in the yards, Iam always looking for a Sanden set up. Charlie |

Wow! I wish I had known about this before installing the A/C on my 617.951 powered 53 F100. I used the R-4 and you can really feel it when it cycles :(
