300SDL engine in a 350SDL - connector on bottom of injector pump

I've just about finished with the 300SDL engine in the 350SDL. I noticed the harness at the bottom of the rear of the injector pump is 3 pin on the 300SDL, and on the 350SDL harness, it's a 5 pin connector. Any ideas what I should do? I guess I can take apart the 350 harness, and manually repin it if I have matching colors. But should I remove that white connector on the back of the pump and transfer it? If so, is that something that can be done with the engine in the car? I'll take some pics, and post them so you can see exactly what I'm referring to. Thanks!
