AC Problem, Please help

Hello Everyone.

Charged my ac today and got some cool air for about half an hour then the system stoped sending cool air, pressures are correct and it seems that the ac compressor does not kick in. checked all fuses and nothing is burned. No curent gets to AC clutch.

Thanks

BM

boem, what leathermang is beating arond the bush about is if you tell us what car you're working on and you'll probably get more responces.

The pressure switch on the reciever drier might be bad.

Thanks Roy,
Actually I missed that he did not tell the car... I was talking about which refrigerant, proper set up for the test, the actual readings, etc... that sort of stuff....
and if he understands that much....and reads the sticky... I am sure it says something about jumping the pressure switch ...to see if the compressor clutch will activate... in to see if it is faulty.... etc....everyone who wants Ac help should read the sticky...that is what is is a Sticky For...to provide a general starting point for efficient exchange of helpful information...
