617 non turbo crank the same as 617 turbo crankshaft ?

Am considering a 85 turbo wagon with a broken crank nose. I have read posts regarding fixing this but am curious as to whether the non turbo crank would fit since there is one of these available as well ? Cheers Dan

They are not the same at all. The turbo has a much larger crank nose.

I would not be surprised if there are other differences as well. Best just get a NA crank and be done with it.
