My friend has a professionally rebuilt KKK (K24), packed in oil and sealed in plastic. It has been in his garage for 8 years and looks new.

What is it worth as I am temped to buy it?

Don't know, but I would be tempted to buy it myself... whats he want for it?

I like the KKK better that the other because it's much simpler to play with the boost settings.

He wants to know what I think its worth.

I do not know so I am asking the collective for help.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime you just might find you get what you need.

To rebuild a Garrett it runs about 300-350 plus parts if the compressor and turbine are damaged. That's totaly cleaned, rebuilt and then balanced.

Remember...

There is no warranty on it now since it has sat for so long. It is not worth as much as he thinks it is now. Is there any paperwork to accompany the thing?
