1981 300d blower stopped blowing

Guys,

Yesterday I took a ride and my heat worked. Got home, parked the car. This morning, no heat. No blowing whatsoever. Just dead. Randomly while driving I was monkeying with the switches and it kicked on again. Then I clicked it on and off a couple more times and now it's dead again. Pulled the plug off the blower motor, turned the key to accessory position, and checked the voltage on the plug with a voltmeter with defroster button engaged. No voltage. Actually it blipped about 1/2 volt when I turned the defroster off/on, but otherwise nothing.

What's going on and where else should I be looking?

zc

I had changed out the fuse. But you know what... After driving myself nuts I decided to remove the fuse and scrub the connections clean. Wouldn't you know it, the fuse was good but not making a solid connection. So yeah, check the fuse.
