Is my maintenance schedule okay?

Hey guys,

There's a link to a maintenance schedule I made for a 240D I just purchased. Could some of you check it out and tell me if you have any pointers or see anything I miss?

Thanks!!

You have L across the board for coolant, ATF and PS fluid. Those fluids and associated filters should be replaced at regular intervals. It might be semantics but I'd put an R in place of an L every so often. Do you have a sunroof?

This looks like a school assignment.
What is wrong with following the owners manual?
If the mileage goes beyond the manual, just continue at the same interval.

Sixto, it makes sense to replace the ATF and PS fluid and filters - I just copied all the information from the supplied maintenance guide. Does anyone know recommended mileage to change these fluids/filters?

And, yes, I do have a sunroof! Thanks for your reply, what should I do with the sunroof?

Layback40, I intend to enter the date with an assigned number in each box as I complete them. The number will correspond with a receipt, if applicable. I also now have the ability to add extra scheduled maintenance - such as the sunroof as sixto mentioned, or anything else you W123 experts can recommend. Thanks.

Open it on a sunny day The FSM has a procedure to open the rails for cleaning and lubrication. It takes a special Gleisspaste (sp?) that costs a fortune in the bulk quantity the dealer sells but some folks sell it by the spoonful which about as much as you'll need for the rest of your life.

every 50k miles has worked for me.
it depends on the type of driving ~ how dusty things are, how extream the temps are & how much gears change. maybe change the diff oil then as well.
