because my 300sd can basically dance side to side in idle.


Have you done a valve adjustment? this could be some of the side to side dance problem. I had a 84 300TD a girl brought over because it lacked power. at an idle the eng rocked back and fourth almost hitting the fender.Ran smooth as glass after the adjustment.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
