A friend sent me this. Thought it may be good for ideas if any one is fitting out a wagon as a camper. Looks like it would fit nicely in the back of a 123 or 124 300D.

Saw that a couple of years ago on Expedition Portal. It's pretty pricey. I thought a very cool use would be for car rental companies in Europe for tourists.

Looks to be about 10k USD for the complete setup... For 10K I think I would rather get a popup camper to pull around.

I agree with you about the $$.
The concept has merit though.
Many on here would be more than capable of making their own or at least parts of it.

Wow, Pretty cool idea though. Funny and timely going camping this weekend with my son. Nothing like this though.

I paid less than $2k for my 85 MB 307d 21' Class A motorhome with a 616 and 5spd. Used it for 3 yrs in Europe and sold it for more. A much better bargain.
