Where to find conversion glow plugs

At some point in time my '69 220D was converted from loop-type glow plugs to pin-type plugs. Not knowing, I thought that the pin plugs were simply the ones used in the later MB diesels. After looking through the forum it is apparent that the threads used on these later plugs are much smaller than those on the old loop-type. However, my plugs have the same size threads as the old plugs and are an exact fit. There is a sticker in the engine compartment that says something like "This engine is equipped with Bosch fast glow plugs" (I think someone else on the forum reported a similar sticker). Does anyone know where to get these plugs? Were they only sold as a kit?
I think the Bosch number is 0 250 201 010 710
Thanks for any help

Call Bosch 1-888-667-1042, they might be able to help.

Turboserif, I have the kind of plugs you are talking about. I had a hell of a time finding them. My car has an older engine than what it originally came with. I was told that Bosch does not make them anymore. I ended up paying $24 for each of the last Bosch plugs that an indie shop had. Later I found another brand of the same plug. I have had no problems with them. I have the 4 Bosch plugs for back-ups. I think I ordered them from Performance Automotive. Check with them. I don't have the number with me right now, I can get it if you can't find it. andy

I went through the same thing. I had the bosch sticker in the car, etc. Ended up buying an entire fast glow conversion kit just for the plugs. It got me 4 of the 5 that I needed. I saw a couple of the kits on Ebay this morning, I think the 4 cyl. one was starting at about $90. -Andy
the next time I need them I will just make an adaptor from some old loop style plugs. apparently you can just bust the inside out of them and tap them to fit the smaller diameter (newer)plugs. I figure the tap will be about $20, I can chuck them into the lathe then bore to the right ID and put the threads in fairly easily.
