This w124 Depo headlight on ebay looks different

First rock that hit my new Depo headlight put an end to it. Thin glass.

So I see these on ebay, and I notice unlike every other Depo being sold for w124, these ones have metal clips around the edges. Notice the glass has a different "thicker lines" pattern over the fogs too. Contacted the seller, says photo is not an error, these are Depo's and have clips.

I'm wondering old stock? I wondering is this thicker glass?

Anybody have experience with these ones?

Here's a photo from the auction:

The depos I bought for my W123 were an exact copy of the bosh units. down to the clips and glass.

do you have a link to the auction with those?

This auction shows the clip less lights

But for w124's I've only seen Depo sans metal clips. Like the ones in my car now.

These are first I've seen with metal clips.

You can see the word "Depo" on the glass at the bottom of the lens.
Googling around a bit I see the brand "LUCID" associated with this picture.

You know what, I think I found answer to my own question.

The light shown is not for a w124, it is for a 300SE body style. Wassthat a w126?

I was going to say the picture is not of a W124 headlight. It doesn't have the goofy fitting above the fog light section that accepts the twist lock thingy.

I can't confirm from the ad if it is a set, or a single light. The table shows 124's though.
