Value of 1987 190D

I have a 1987 190D 2.5 non turbo. What do you folks feel the value of this vehicle is it has 145K on the odo, the seat bottoms have been redone by an upholstery shop and they are nice a firm. I'm looking for an idea of what to sell it for. Thank you

AT or MT?

Market price varies throughout the country. They're popular up where you are and in the northeast where they pay a premium for rust-free cars. Texas is the bargain basement - you'll find comparable cars for ~30% less. The California market is sour on Diesels. You'll see listings stretch for months at asking prices that sell in a week elsewhere.

I'll guess $2500-4000 with the low end for a car with good curb appeal and the high end for a car with service records since new and no immediate needs.

In CA, in reasonable condition, CL ads for your car are around $2500-$3500 or so. Thrashed versions with bad paint and interiors advertise for about $1500. I don't know what the eventual selling price is though.

Thanks guys I appreciate the information, hopefully I'll sell this quickly, I bought it for my wife a couple of years ago to convert it to WVO with a Frybrid kit but she said NOooooo. After I bought it I had a knee replacement, the right shoulder surgery then the left shoulder then a cat bite put me in the hospital for 4 days. Now I have a dog bite to the right hand right down to the tendons. I havn't been able to do much for the last 3 years. So I'm getting ready to sell this car.

Nope not either of those. I was working on my Benz and noticed the neighborhood cat ( 2 neighbors feed it ) at the end of the drive way when it saw that I made eye contact, it trotted up the driveway. The cat then started to weave thru my legs rubbing up against me. I bent down to pet it and stroked it from head to tail 4 times. On the 4th stroke it was on my hand and fore arm like a mountain lion on a crippled deer. I had 2 severe punctures on my right hand thumb and 20 puncture wounds on my fore arm. I squeezed it to get it to bleed, poured hydrogen peroxide on it and bandaged it. The next day I had red streaks running up my arm -- to the ER I went. They admitted me and put me on IV antibiotics.
The dog bite happened while door knocking for a political party. Fenced yard, double gate across driveway, sign behind gate "Beware of Dog". I was aware of the dog he was behind the 42" high fence paceing and barking, wagging his tail ears up. The owner came to the gate and I introduced myself and what I was doing there. She was willing to talk. I palced my clipboard on the top of the fence and faster than I can type the dog jumped up, did not even put his feet on the fence, and bit my right hand on the pinkie side. When I looke I saw 3 tendons 1 of which was frayed. I put the flap of meat back over the tendons and held pressure on it and stopped the bleeding. She called 911 and animal control. 26 stitches to close it up. I guess the dog was from the other party.
