Rebuilding injectors

My 1982 US spec 300TD needs some attention to the injectors, it's got about 170k on it (we think) and I'm getting a bit of uncombusted fuel when the engine is cold, which is gone when it's warmed up. And these are more then likely original injectors.

I have a much newer set of injectors from a Euro 300TD (non-turbo), will those fit and work on my engine? They look about the same, but I'm thinking that the pressure and amount of fuel they squirt will be different.

Can they be rebuilt to fit my car?
