240d vacuum pump problem again

After about half a year my vacuum pump ( early, two port diaphragm style) has gone out again. However thankfully this time it was not catastrophic. When I removed and disassembled it I discovered that the big spring managed to work its way through the housing and was not under tension from the rocker arm. I found wear on the housing so I replaced it with another one and figured that would fix the spring problem. However I assembled the whole thing and the problem was still there. How is the spring supposed to sit in he housing? Am I assembling it wrong? Anything have suggestions or a pictorial on how to assemble the rocker arm and springs.

Problem fixed. Thanks to Diesel911 providing me with factory diagrams I was able to figure out that I managed to forget one important part. Based on the pictures, can anyone figure it out?
